GCIS UK Ltd are proud to partner with MSC Active and Marriotts School to help young people of Stevenage get access to home learning…
Today MSC Active, the community face of Marriotts School, are pleased to announce a new Community Project aimed at helping the young people of Stevenage with home learning. Inspired by the national drive to make sure students have access to IT equipment for their home learning, we are aiming to redistribute unused laptops and tablets to students of Stevenage schools.
Since the full reopening of schools, secondary schools have worked hard, with Government to provide support to ensure students have access to laptops to complete home learning If they are isolated. MSC now aims to help secure a permanent device for students who don’t have one to support education throughout and beyond the current pandemic.
We are appealing to anyone who has unused laptops or tablets that they can donate, with the technical assistance of GCIS UK Ltd we will recondition and rehome these to those students who do not have any device of their own. The only essential element of the devices is that they must be able to access the internet.
If you have a device that you would like to donate to help the young people in Stevenage with their home learning please email coaches@marriotts.herts.sch.uk or call 01438 317525 Monday – Friday 8am until 4pm for full details.
